About us

i-HEATPUMP was founded to address a growing problem in low-carbon heating.

Heat pumps work - that isn’t the issue. Heat pump technology is often the most efficient source of heat we have, but these systems must be installed, commissioned and maintained correctly to perform consistently.

Modern heat pump systems are complex, dynamic, and highly sensitive to:

  • design decisions

  • configuration

  • controls

  • hydraulics

  • occupant behaviour

When performance drifts, the root cause is rarely obvious. Too often, engineers are expected to diagnose complex systems under time pressure with limited data available to them.

i-HEATPUMP exists to offer an alternative.
